City Square

High contrast urban geometry in public / private places.

Photographed in early 2010 when the burgeoning “iPhoneography” scene was coming to light, City Square looks at private / public spaces and the interactions within. The images in this collection capture an afternoon in the financial district of Vancouver, BC where workers come out for some sun and a short break from their inside world.

Composed and edited entirely ‘in camera’ on an iPhone 3GS using Hipstamatic lenses and film. Printed at the LP size of 12×12″ and presented without matte in square black frames. Portions of this series have exhibited at galleries in Vancouver and unlimited editions are currently available for sale. Contact me to purchase prints from this series.
